What Is The Castrol Engine Warranty Scheme?

Castrol has been lubricating engines for over 120 years and has recently launched the new Castrol Engine Warranty scheme. It was way back on 29 March 1899 that Charles ‘Cheers’ Wakefield set up an oil company in England and K&M Citroen is delighted to be associated with the company that revolutionised transport all those years ago. We recently became a Castrol SERVICE workshop and now have the backing of this well-known and trusted brand. This means we can offer our customers the reassurance of engine warranty cover. Castrol Engine Warranty scheme eligibility

• Available to Castrol SERVICE workshop customers
• A petrol or diesel engine, which has been driven for less than 150,000 miles and is under 12 years old
• A privately owned passenger car or light commercial vehicle
• Warranty period is 18,000 miles or 12 months after the oil change – whatever comes first
• Warranty takes effect 30 days or 1,000 miles from engine oil change date

K&M Citroen is a Castrol SERVICE Centre

 If you have had your vehicle serviced at a Castrol SERVICE Centre workshop in the last seven days, you could be eligible for the Castrol Engine Warranty. The warranty is available to customers of K&M Citroen and K&M Tyres who have had their car oil changed with selected Castrol EDGE, MAGNATEC or GTX products. Castrol guarantees the engine through the warranty and there is no charge to you. After your vehicle service, you have seven days to register.

What does the warranty cover?

The full list is available on the Castrol website and our own site. It includes pistons and rings, timing chain, oil pump, rocker arms and pivots and the cam shaft and bearings to name a few.
